Abstract
A cDNA encoding the mouse homologue of the rat ribosomal protein L28 w as isolated from an adult mouse total testis cDNA library. The L28 cDN A contained a single long open reading frame and exhibited a high degr ee of conservation to rat L28 at both the nucleotide and amino-acid le vels. Northern blot hybridization analysis detected a single transcrip t in embryo, placenta and adult tissues.
