DIFLUCAN APPLICATION IN MYCOLOGY

The authors review published data on the use of diflucan manufactured by Pfeizer, USA, in Russia and abroad and present the results they att ained in the treatment of 183 patients with bronchopulmonary, gastroin testinal, buccal mucosa candidiasis, candidal sepsis, pyelonephritis, vulvovaginitis, and with disseminated candidiasis which developed in t he presence of the polyendocrinal syndrome. Complete clinical cure and mycotic sanitization were attained in 136 (74.3 %) of these patients, this indicating a high efficacy of the drug.
