Abstract
A single oral dose of diflucan was administered to 37 patients during exacerbation of chronic candidal vulvovaginitis. Complete clinicomycol ogic cure was attained in 30 (81 %) patients 7 days and in 25 (68 %) o nes 30 days after the drug intake. Hence, diflucan (fluconasole) is a highly effective drug for the treatment of candidal vulvovaginitis, no ntoxic, and causing no side effects.
