Abstract
Modification of LDPE with thermoplastics and siloxane additives was sh own to be accompanied by an increase in strength properties of oriente d samples by a factor of 1.7 and 1.5, respectively. Independently of t he chemical structure of the additives used, similar trends in changes of physicochemical properties of the modified materials were observed . The experimental data on structural and dynamic parameters allowed t he conclusion on a predominant effect of supermolecular structure on t he properties of modified PE.
