Abstract
Reaction injection molding of polyurethaneurea elastomers was studied using adiabatic calorimetry, FT-IR spectroscopy, wide-angle X-ray scat tering, and scanning electron microscopy. Phase inhomogeneity and mech anical properties of polyurethaneurea elastomers were found to enhance with an increase in catalyst content and in the relative rate of form ation of urethane bonds.
