Abstract
OODR spectroscopy has been applied in the study of the G2SIGMA+ state of BaCl, where a tunable Ti:sapphire laser was used in a second excita tion step to determine the term values. A rotational analysis was perf ormed and molecular constants were derived. The result shows that ther e is no strong or simple perturbation relation between the G state and the previously investigated G'2PI state.
