Abstract
The hyperfine structure (hfs) of the level 4f7(S-8(0)) S-7(3)0 in Eu-1 51, Eu-153, II has been measured with collinear fast ion beam - laser spectroscopy. The hfs of the S-7(3)0 level has been measured with inte rferometric methods previously but, to our knowledge, this is the firs t measurement with the laser ion beam technique. In the present experi ment the hfs of the 4f7(S-8(7/2)0) 6p1/2 levels were also obtained. Co rresponding magnetic dipole and electric quadrupole coupling constants A and B are evaluated.
