Abstract
A rare case of moderately differentiated neuroendocrine carcinoma (aty pical carcinoid) of the larynx is presented, The role of immunohistoch emistry in the diagnosis of the lesion is described. The importance of considering the diagnosis in a patient with prolonged cervical pain w ith features of glossopharyngeal neuralgia, is discussed.
