Abstract
The effect of electropolarization of a carbon-material mixture on the process of activation with moist air has been studied. It has been dem onstrated that electropolarization allows one to conduct the activatio n process at temperatures under 300-degrees-C, which excludes the poss ibility of product self-ignition. It has been determined that the acti vation process at T<300-degrees-C occurs solely in the volume of micro pores and does not affect macro- and mesopores.
