Abstract
Radical copolymerization of 2-hydroxyethyl methacrylate with N-vinyl-3 (5)-methylpyrazole in water-dimethyl sulfoxide mixtures has been studi ed. Ammonium persulfate-ascorbic acid mixture was used as an initiatin g system. The effect of the composition of the reaction mixture on cop olymerization rate and the yield of the copolymers is discussed. The r eactivity ratios of monomers have been calculated.
