Abstract
The effects of neonatal treatment with the antiandrogen cyproterone ac etate (Cyp.Ac.) upon exploratory and sexual behavior as well as on hyp othalamic monoamine levels were studied. Four experimental groups were formed. Intact males, males castrated PND 35, neonatally Cyp.Ac. trea ted males, and intact females. The antiandrogenic treatment seams to b e in general more effective than the prepuberal gonadectomy to demascu linizate the parameters measured.
