The relationship of measured residential magnetic fields and wire code
s to pregnancy outcome was examined in data collected for a study of c
hildhood cancer in Denver. Pregnancies in homes with measured fields a
bove 0.2 mu T or high wire codes were not more likely to end in miscar
riage, low birth weight, or preterm delivery. Lack of data on potentia
l confounders and small numbers of cases limit the study's conclusions
