Abstract
Indian MST radar located at Gadanki (13.47-degrees-N, 79.18-degrees-E) near Tirupati became operational in the ST mode during February-March 1992. During this period the radar was used to observe the dynamics o f the troposphere and the lower stratosphere, specially, the waves. In this paper, a few characteristics of the observed gravity waves are p resented and discussed.
