Abstract
Results of the ST mode experiment using the Indian MST radar for a 24- h period during 21-22 Mar. 1992, with a view to detecting waves and ti des in the troposphere and lower stratosphere are reported. Presence o f wavelike perturbations in the vertical profiles of the wind componen ts and diurnal and semi-diurnal tidal effects are indicated. Results a re discussed in the light of previous measurements with Jicamarca and Arecibo radars.
