Abstract
ST/MST clear-air Doppler radar has become an important tool in observa tional meteorology because of its capability to remotely observe dynam ic parameters of the atmosphere. Wind shear measurements made with the Indian MST radar are presented. Significant wind shear is consistentl y observed between 7.0 and 8.5 km. Wind shear is correlated with diffe rent turbulence parameters.
