Abstract
The concept of Total Quality and of its Management represents a paradi gmatically different approach for contemplating all layers of reality in which a human being is involved in. This paper approaches the domai n of the TQM from the viewpoints of underlying mental models and pays special attention to the problems of learning, and particularly to the deliberate de-memorizing. For the Central and Eastern European countr ies in transition, a few basic obstacles for implementing Total Qualit y Management are described, and the need for dememorizing of some of t he concepts of Business Economics is depicted
