Abstract
Sudden unilateral hearing loss can be one symptom of acoustic neuroma. Other related symptoms are dizziness, unsteadiness, tinnitus and mani festations of V and VII cranial nerve involvement. However, difficulty arises in diagnosing acoustic neuroma when recurrent sudden hearing l oss is the sole clinical manifestation. Our report describes the case of a 46 year-old man presenting recurrent sudden hearing loss due to a coustic neuroma.
