Abstract
A new current excitation and measurement strategy for imaging the resi stivity distribution of materials inside a process vessel having an el ectrically conducting boundary is presented. Excitation and measuremen t are performed between the process vessel itself and N electrically i nsulated metal electrodes mounted in the periphery of the process vess el. Consequently, a total of N(N - 1)/2 unique measurements are obtain ed.
