Abstract
The luteolytic effect and clinical efficacy of the PGF2-alpha analogue Estrumate(TM) after intravaginal administration was examined in a tot al of 26 heifers and cows of the breed German Black Pied. Hormone leve ls in blood and clinical observations showed that effect and efficacy, respectively were the same after intravaginal administration compared to subcutaneous, intramuscular or intravenous application.
