Abstract
The rat N-ras protooncogene has been assigned to chromosome 2q34 by fl uorescence in situ hybridization on rat metaphase chromosomes. This wa s accomplished using two recently isolated genomic clones with a lengt h of 8.2 and 4.1 kb.
