Abstract
Eighty-nine Technetium-99m-MDP scans performed between January 1987 an d June 1990 at the Leicester Royal Infirmary were reviewed with regard to the indication, patient outcome and value of the scans in the pati ents' management. The significant finding was the value of a normal sc an in the management of children with chronic pain.
