Abstract
Analytical methods routinely used for the sensitive and reliable deter mination of elemental As and As compounds in biological materials are surveyed. The importance of assessing the effects of individual As for ms for toxicological evaluation of As in living organisms and of the r ight selection of analytical methods are emphasized.
