Abstract
A vapor-liquid equilibrium cell of a new design to withstand high temp erature, high pressure and corrosive fluids is constructed. Vapor-liqu id equilibrium is measured for mixtures of l-propanol and p-xylene at 160.0 and 221.1 degrees C at pressures to 26 bar. The VLE data are cor related with Wong and Sandler's equation of state method using activit y coefficient model parameters.
