Abstract
In a study being carried out jointly by KSPA TRUD, MTU and Pratt & Whi tney into cryogenic engines, the suitability of liquid hydrogen and li quid methane as aviation fuels is being investigated, taking fuel cost s. environmental effects, safety and availability of technologies as t he main assessment criteria. This report explains the tasks of the stu dy and presents the results to date.
