Radionuclide X-ray fluorescence analysis was used for the determinatio
n of Y, Ba and Cu in thin high-temperature superconducting films. Atom
ic emission ICP spectrometry was used to estimate the precision and ac
curacy of analytical results. Reasonable agreement between both method
s was obtained when a polynomial calibration curve was applied.
