Crystallographic orientation of fine crystalline domains in magnet pow
der of Nd-Fe-Co-B-Ga produced by the drogenation-decomposition-desorpt
ion-recombination (HDDR) method has been examined from their conventio
nal selected area electron diffraction patterns. It was found that the
c- and a-axes of domains (Nd2Fe14B-type: P4(2) mnm) are aligned withi
n 45-degrees in solid angle, respectively. The correlated alignment of
c-axes accounts for the magnetic anisotropy of the magnet powder.
