Abstract
A simple approximate equation of motion for the longitudinal component of the magnetic moment of a single-domain uniaxial superparamagnetic particle is proposed. This equation is used to evaluate the spectral d ensity function of the interparticle magnetic motion at finite tempera tures and to describe the stochastic resonance effect. The corresponde nce of the results obtained with those of previous calculations is dis cussed.
