The development of a thin conducting liquid film on the surface of a s
pinning disk is studied in the presence of a uniform magnetic field. I
t is found that the film thickness decreases with the spinning time bu
t increases with the Hartmann number M for a fixed time. The rate of d
epletion is more for small M than for large M.
