AORTIC DISSECTION ORIGINATING IN THE SUPRARENAL ABDOMINAL-AORTA

Spontaneous dissection of the abdominal aorta originating from the sup rarenal aorta is very rare. Previous reports attest to the lethal natu re of this disorder. This case represents the first report of successf ul repair of a spontaneous suprarenal abdominal aortic dissection by g raft insertion with obliteration of both the entrance tear and the fal se lumen with reimplantation of the visceral vessels.
