Abstract
Armco iron samples were irradiated successively in an atmosphere conta ining natural nitrogen and in a nitrogen atmosphere enriched with N-15 . Resonant nuclear reaction analysis showed characteristic differences between samples N-15(2). Based on these differences conclusions are d rawn irradiated with different numbers of pulses in natural N-2 and in concerning the importance of nitrogen diffusion and layer ablation.
