Abstract
What is the optimal age for therapeutic interventions for facial cleft s, including use of a palatal covering, surgical repair of clefts in t he lip and/or palate, dental and facial orthopedic therapy, and speech habilitation? The answer is straightforward: all these interventions should be performed as early as possible.
