Abstract
Coupling nf 2'-deoxy-2'-alpha-monofluoromethyl and trifluoromethyl rib ose derivatives with bissilylated thymine afforded a mixture of alpha- and beta- nucleosides which were further transformed into their corre sponding pure beta-phosphoramidites.
