Abstract
Manganese eta2-complexes of enones (cyclohexenone and cyclopentenone) have been prepared and their alkylations were studied. Only the alkyla tions of the eta2-complexes of manganese with cyclopentenone yielded d iastereoselectively the desired exo-products of type 6.
