Abstract
Study Design. The authors report two cases of spinal cord tumors chara cterized by unusual pain, which is recurrent abdominal pain or cervica l angina. Methods. These unusual pains were improved after removal of tumors in the patients. Conclusions. The authors conclude that the pai n was caused by vascular compression, bleeding in the tumor, or incomp lete block of the cerebrospinal fluid flow. They recommend the use of osteoplastic laminectomy, because anatomic structure and spinal functi on should be preserved in young patients.
