The three-temperature approximations for the industrial continuous-wav
e fast-axial-floW CO2 laser opens the way for general three-dimensiona
l modelling of the compressible flow in the laser cavity. This modelli
ng allows us to investigate, in detail, the spatial distribution of ga
s laser parameters. Although our code has been designed for a specific
type of gas laser it can be generalized to a wide range of other type
s of gas discharges and can be used in scientific research and industr
ial applications.
