ANALYTICAL APPROACH TO THE FOREST-FIRE MODEL

Using a Fock-space formalism the rate equations are derived. They reve al a stationary solution with a critical concentration. To go beyond t he mean field limit higher-order correlation functions have been analy zed. This results in an algebraic decay with an exponent given by the average number of perimeter sites.
