T. Mishima et al., EXTREMELY HIGH-MOBILITY CARRIERS IN ORGANIC CONDUCTOR ALPHA(BEDT-TTF)2I3 UNDER HIGH-PRESSURE, Materials science & engineering. B, Solid-state materials for advanced technology, 25(1), 1994, pp. 120000001-120000005
The temperature and magnetic field dependence of the electrical conduc
tivity of alpha-(BEDT-TTF)2I3 under high pressure was investigated bet
ween 20 K and 2 K. The results were analyzed using the Boltzmann equat
ion method. It is shown that the mobility of carriers increases with d
ecreasing temperature, and rises to a high value (about 90 000 cm2 V-1
s-1) at 3.0 K. On the contrary, the carrier density decreases with de
creasing temperature.
