F. Gaizer et Ii. Kiss, A PC PROGRAM FOR CALCULATION OF THE STABILITY-CONSTANTS OF COMPLEXES MQLPHR FROM PH-METRIC MEASUREMENTS, Talanta, 41(3), 1994, pp. 419-424
A least-squares computer program MAXIPOT-F using the nonweighted resid
uals of emfs has been constructed for calculation of the optimum value
s of the cumulative stability constants of complexes M(q)L(p)H(r) and/
or those of species H(r)L(p) or H(-r)M(q) from pH-metric data. The bas
ic parameters (E0, g, j(H), j(OH) and K(s)) necessary for evaluation c
an be obtained from blank titration curves. These parameters and the t
otal base concentration of the titrant are also treated as refinable g
roup parameters. The programs, written in FORTRAN programming language
, can be run on a PC and easily extended or connected to other program
s. Small programs for species-distribution calculation under different
experimental conditions are also reported.
