Abstract
From the stem bark and seeds of Lasiosiphon eriocephalus Dcne. (Thymel aeaceae) a new xanthone glycoside, lasioside (1) and a known biscoumar in lasiocephalin (2) have been isolated. The structure of 1 has been e stablished from spectroscopic and chemical studies.
