ELECTROSTATIC PRECIPITATORS USED IN THE ECOLOGICAL CONVERSION OF POWER IN COAL-FIRED THERMOELECTRIC-POWER PLANTS

This paper deals with the achievements ICPFT-SA has obtained so far in the activity of investigation and designing for the fabrication of el ectrostatic precipitators intended to equip Coal-based steam boilers i n the thermoelectric power station. The basic features of electrostati c precipitators, made in three development stages in this field as far back as the 1970s up to the present, have been herein submitted. The essential trends envisaged to be the background for the further develo pment of research works in the field of energetics have also been set forth.
