Abstract
Electron micrographs of the catalysts after each sulfidation step reve aled an increase in size of the Pd and Ru catalysts, while under the s ame conditions, the size of Rh particles remained almost unchanged. Th e chemical crystalline phases formed during the thermal treatments wer e measured using high-resolution electron microscopy and digital-imagi ng techniques.
