Abstract
In the one-generation technicolour model, the one-loop virtual correct ions on the ZbbBAR vertex from the P+/- and P8+/- can be rather large; the shift deltaR(b) = (R(b) - R(b)SM)/R(b)SM is in the range of 0-9.6 % in the considered parameter space. By comparing the vertex correctio ns with the new electroweak data one can put some primary limits on th e mass of the colour octet P8+/-: m(p2) > 335 GeV (at 95% CL) for m(t) = 150 GeV.
