We use our <<first-principles>> theory for magnetic correlations in pa
ramagnetic alloys to extract magnetic interactions in the Cu85Mn15 <<s
pin-glass>> alloy at 295 K. We associate a new combination of competin
g, electronic effects for these entities. Our results are in good agre
ement with appropriate neutron scattering data for this alloy above it
s <<spin-freezing. temperature. We suggest that the extracted magnetic
interactions will be useful in improving models of the low-temperatur
e magnetic properties of these spin-glasses.
