Abstract
Three cytotoxic 6-substituted 5, 6-dihydro-2H-pyran-2-ones (1 - 3) wer e isolated from a Brazilian medicinal plant, Chorisia crispiflora. 1 w as identified as argentilactone, and the structures of two new compoun ds (2 and 3) were determined on the basis of the physicochemical prope rties.
