Abstract
Polarisation-independent 100Gbit/s demultiplexing is demonstrated for the first time with a nonlinear optical loop mirror using a polarisati on diversity scheme. Error free operation is confirmed with a 0.6dB va riation in received optical power as the input signal polarisation dir ection is varied by 90-degrees.
