Abstract
Percutaneous balloon dilatation of the pulmonary valve resulted in lon g lasting benefit in a 40-year-old patient with carcinoid heart diseas e. Concomitant aggressive therapy for her metastatic carcinoid tumour may explain why the clinical outcome was better than previous reports.
