Abstract
The potential of impedance measurements in studies of porous electroch emical systems was discussed. Results were presented which were obtain ed when investigating the active mass of lead-acid battery negatives, both under equilibrium conditions and under polarization. It was shown that by impedance measurements it is possible to determine the parame ters of porous structure of the electrodes without adducing additional data from other techniques. The potential of impedance measurements i n the scanning of porous electrodes was discussed.
