Abstract
A rapid method of measurement with an error of less than 5% of the fac tor of normal plastic anisotropy RBAR in automotive sheet steel has be en proposed and tested. Determination of RBAR is based on diffractomet ric measurement in the plane of the sheet of the ratio of the integral intensities of the 222 and 200 lines (I222/I200) recorded in MoK(alph a)- and AgK(alpha)-radiations. A short description is given of the met hod of specimen preparation and the method of measurement of integral intensity.
