Abstract
The stabilization of trypsin against thermal inactivation and autolysi s was achieved by coupling saccharides to lysine residues of the enzym e. The reaction of reductive amination was used to bind reducing disac charides. Periodate oxidized saccharide residues of the modified prote in were used for coupling of trypsin to solid supports containing amin o or hydrazide groups.
