Abstract
Infra-red and ac-susceptibility studies of Mn-substituted ferrofluid w ere undertaken. The result of infra-red suggest that oleic acid coatin g is complete and no free radicals were observed. Ac-susceptibility sh ows a peak at 150K and a theoretical treatment was given to explain th is behaviour.
